About us
We are nestled in the heart of the South Okanagan, where we cultivate 19 acres of estate fruit. Our commitment to quality and sustainability ensures that each grape is nurtured with care, resulting in exceptional wines that reflect our unique terroir. Planted on some of the finest vineyard land in the South Okanagan, the vineyard is planted with 6 acres of Merlot, 4 acres of Cabernet Franc, 3 acres of Malbec, 2 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon, 2 acres of Riesling, 1acre of Sauvignon Blanc and 1 acre of Orange Muscat.

Crafting Excellence since 1966
Since 1966, the family has perfected their craft of producing exceptional tree fruits in the South Okanagan. In 2009, this tradition evolved to focus on the art of growing premium grapes, leading to the establishment of Adega on 45th in 2011 by Maria Nunes and her brother, Fred Farinha, alongside their spouses, Alex and Pamala. This Adega winery has become a cornerstone of the Okanagan wine community, seamlessly blending old-world charm with new-world innovation. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of Osoyoos sunsets from the inviting patio of Adega, where the Nunes and Farinha families, deeply rooted in the local agricultural community since 1966, proudly pass the torch to the new experienced leadership team, continuing their legacy of exceptional Adega wines in the region and contributing to the list of notable wineries in Osoyoos.
